Chrysler introduced its popular fuselage styling in 1969, and the 1969
Chrysler 300 models had a very sleek and clean appearance with this new
look. Chrysler spelled out the name Three Hundred in block letters on the
rear quarter panels, and a blacked-out insert was featured on the front
grille. Hidden headlights made a return appearance, with the front parking
lights mounted at the extreme edges of the grille. Triple body accent stripes
further distinguished the 300s from the rest of the line.
