VINYL ROOF
The vinyl roof was available in six colors on all 1969 Cadillac models
as an optional item at extra cost, except for the Calais Coupe and Hardtop
Sedan and the Fleetwood Sixty Special Sedan. For 1969, the vinyl roof featured
a distinctive "halo" design of fine chrome mouldings with a color-keyed
border surrounding the edge of the vinyl roof. These were painted to match
the color of the vinyl material, and were set back from the edge of the
roof rail to allow a color break of paint between the chrome roof rail
and the vinyl roof moulding.
The vinyl roof was an additional $152.65 on DeVille models, and $758 on
Fleetwood Seventy-Fives unless Chrome Landau Bows were ordered, at which
the cost was $2,026.
