Above: New instrument panel for 1964 was designed to increase front seat leg and knee room. Options shown are the AM/FM Push-Button Radio ($84.70), Air Conditioner ($504.60), and Automatic Speed Control ($96.80). Gauges for fuel, oil, amps, and temperature flank the area just above the steering column, below the speedometer. This instrument panel was only used for two years, 1964-65, but remains a favorite of Lincoln enthusiasts today due to its elegant and clean design, and ease of use. Standard vacuum door lock control is located above and slightly to the left of the ignition switch.
