*Note: Trim code 604 Ivory (white) was first used in production on January 29, 1965 after Buick received complaints from new owners that the upgrade interior option wasn't offered in white.

For 1965, Riviera Custom Interiors included:

• Full-length arm rests on front doors
• Door latch access for rear seat passengers
• Optional power window controls incorporated into door arm rests
• Wood veneer paneling on door and rear quarter trim panels, and center console
• Beaumonde Cloth or All-Vinyl interior trim
• Ribbed Exterior Rocker Panel Moldings (New for '65)
• Chrome-finished interior roof and window moldings (New for '65)

Note: All 1965 Riviera models had a textured black material on the instrument panel, which included the areas around the gauges, radio face plate, and glove compartment. For the first time, wood veneer inserts appeared on the consoles with Standard interior installations.

Note 2: Front seat belts were provided as standard equipment on all Rivieras for the first time in 1965.
